Eyes suffer from many factors like pollution, dirt and dust or allergic factors from the environment. This can cause red eyes, itchy feeling, feeling that there is something like dust in your eyes and even pain.
Taking care of your eyes
If you work in front of your computer long hours, take a break every hour and use the time to rest your eyes. You can even go for a walk, if this is possible.
Another beneficial solution is to place cucumber slices on your eyes. Similar option is to put potato slices on your eyes, because potatoes are rich on vitamins and also contain vitamin K, which is very important for the eyes. You can also hold tea bags in your refrigerator in order to use them in the same manner. Put the tea bags on your yes for about 5 minutes per day and do this often to achieve best results.
You can also splash your eyes with cold water. This way you will refresh and hydrate them and will also clean all dust and dirt particles from them.
Pay attention to your diet. An essential element for your eyes are vitamin A and proteins. They will enchance your vision and help you see better and more clearly. Carrots and eggs on the other hand can relief eye problems, so make sure to include them in your diet.

Once glaucoma has been diagnosed, it is very important to treat it as soon as possible. Keep in mind that damage already done to the eyes usually cannot be reversed but you can prevent more damage from occurring with treatment. Treatment can include using eye drops, laser or surgery.
